Bannock, Bingo ‘n’ BFFs Kinship Event

Need a break from these strange times? The Toronto Queer Film Festival and the Indigenous Curatorial Collective are hoping to help recharge your spirit. As part of our 2021 festival, we are pleased to present ‘Bannock, Bingo ‘n’ BFFs Kinship Event’ hosted by your coolest auntie Weird Alice. This zoom-based kinship event will include bingo, door prizes and belly laughs. So grab some snacks and some friends and come on out!

Weird Alice is a 2S queer performance artist who has been described as glamorous with a dash of disgusting. Host and creator of QTBIPOC pageant ‘Drop Deadly Gorgeous’, Drag Me to the Movies (a movie + bingo series), Weird Alice has been touring the world with their art for the past decade exploring themes of identity, queerness, packaged in a bizarre pop culture pastiche.

We are proud to partner with Indigenous Curatorial Collective/Collectif des commissaires autochtones for this event.
