TQFF is thrilled to announce our latest partnership with the Film For Artists Residency, which has joined with TQFF to launch a scholarship for an emerging queer or trans artist interested in working in 16mm film. The winner of this scholarship will have all expenses paid for the June 19-26th residency at Hanlan’s Point. Deadline to apply is May 1. The Toronto Queer Film Festival showcases contemporary, innovative queer and trans film and video art. We are especially interested in supporting formally experimental films and/or social justice themed projects.

TQFF is a volunteer-run, artist-centred festival that is entirely supported by donations. There are no submission fees, and all proceeds from the festival will go towards paying filmmakers an honorarium for their work. Please help support the festival by making a donation today.
