TQFF X ICCA is pleased to present our Indigiqueer* and Two-Spirit Cinema program! It is a part of the ICCA’s Gathering; their theme this year is “Accountability,” We hope we can continue a conversation about how we are accountable to marginalized communities and voices by sharing these films.

We have selected eight short films that display storytelling from indigenous filmmakers. We are overjoyed to share this special program with you. We continue to create spaces where queer and two-spirit people thrive and are safe to promote their creative and political work—a place for connecting, dreaming and growing together.

The screening will be Sunday, October 16th, 2022, 4:30 pm EST on the Toronto Queer Film Festival’s website and an in-person screening at the MacKenzie Art Gallery in Regina, SK, at 2:30 local time.

Accessibility: All films have closed captioning and audio descriptions available!

*Indigiqueer was a term created by the incredible 2S filmmaker TJ Cuthand.
