How are Jovi and Tabitha doing? Kinda shit. They don’t exactly adhere to the “ideal gay image” historically glorified throughout their community. They are outsiders amongst outsiders, on the fringes of queer culture and rolling their bloodshot eyes at the world around them. While the pair have their share of grievances with fellow queers and society at large, instances have begun to arise where the two must turn a magnifying glass on themselves for a change. The fact is, the world around them is certainly fucked, but let’s be real, this jaded and judgmental duo aren’t completely innocent either.

Lily Kazimiera

Lily Kazimiera (she/her) is an Alberta-born, Toronto-based picture editor, actor, writer, and filmmaker. Best known as a series lead and contributing writer on the CBC Gem original series I Hate People, People Hate Me, she is also a DGC Ontario member, working as assistant, assembly, and lead editor on projects encompassing a wide range of size and genre. Her practice across mediums and styles is rooted in a passion for embodied expressionism and evoking the visceral aspects of marginalized experience. She is currently developing her debut short film as writer/director, Stick-Up Job.

Bobbi Summers
