This year, we’re doing things a little differently with our ticketing in order to manage capacity at each of our screenings and to allow everyone to attend the event they really want to. This means that you will need to purchase a separate ticket to each individual event of the festival or purchase an All-Access Pass that allows you to attend multiple events.

If you would like to attend our Online Festival from October 20 to 25, you can purchase an Online Pass for access to our entire virtual programming selection.

Tickets to festival events have three tiers: $10, $20 (Suggested) and $30 (Pay it Forward). Our priority is to remain a low-cost festival for our community and these PWYC tiers support us in continuing to run our festival without corporate sponsorship. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you would like to request a 100% off discount code for in person tickets, use the code GOING2TQFF.

Most of our in person events will be available online after the festival from October 20 to October 25, with the following exceptions:

• Our two feature film programmes, Camp and Lucid
• Our guest programmes, Queer/Sex/Work and Vital Transgressions
• The short Double Chesticle Extraction in the Playplace programme
• The short The Rapture in the Indigenous Moving Image Mentorship Program Screening: Breaking the Lens

Our screenings will not be on demand during the festival.

You can access the festival screenings virtually during the week of October 20 with an Online Pass, which you can purchase here. If you require a 100% off discounted pass, please use the code TQFFONLINE at checkout after adding the Online Pass to cart. 

Once you’ve purchased an Online Pass, you will receive a link to the online programming and a password to view the entire selection any time until October 25.

The All Access Pass costs $60 and provides you with access to all in person and online festival events. Your Pass functions like a credits package that you will use to redeem tickets to the screenings you are interested in. You MUST redeem your credits by reserving a ticket for each individual event that you want to attend in order to save your seat. A seat is not guaranteed with the purchase of your Pass alone.

Due to our new ticketing system, you will be able to see which events are sold out online. We understand that not everyone who buys a ticket attends an event, so rush tickets will be available at the venue. We will operate a rush line outside the Tranzac entrance for all sold out events. Approximately 15 minutes before each event, Festival staff will count the empty seats to sell a select amount of tickets to the folks in the rush line.
