Anasimone, no last name, is the big head behind the very shows you love to see across Toronto.
She garnered notoriety in 2017 after producing a hit monthly variety show: SHADE featuring stand up comedians, sketch performers, drag, burlesque – if you could dream it, it was on that show.

She’s performed on stages across Canada; The CAA Ed Mirvish x, The Great Hall, and The Royal to name a few. You’ve seen her at renowned festivals such as Comedy is Art, Manifesto, TedX, JFL42, Sled Island, TO Sketchfest, Camp Wavelength, and the Danforth Comedy Festival.

You may have also caught her yappin’ on Crave’s revival of One Girl Five Gays, now known as One Queen Five Queers. She was notably featured in Suits*, and on CTV’s Pop Life hosted by Richard Crouse. Her work has earned recognition from esteemed publications like Fashion Magazine, CBC Radio, CTV, & more.

Nikotine is a Lebanese recording artist, Mukhannath (third-gender) performer, and composer reclaiming erased queer Arab histories through bilingual songwriting, Arabic scales, jazz and avant-garde performance. A co-founder of The Dancing Djinn, a Montreal-Toronto cabaret merging live Arabic music with drag and bellydance, Nikotine’s electrifying performances channel the legacy of the trans-feminine artists of medieval Arabia.

Kreme Inakuchi looks great on paper, but say his name out loud and you’ll understand exactly who he is. (That’s pronounced “Crème” if you fancy or “Cream” if you nasty.)

His performance style is altogether thrilling, eclectic, and intimidatingly magnetic!

Sizzle Disco is a queer Brazilian burlesque performer based in Toronto. You may have seen her at local stages like the Sugar Shack, Nerd Girl Burlesque and Rocky Horror TO, or most recently at the Atlantic Burlesque Festival in Halifax.

With a background in filmmaking and a passion for cinema history, Sizzle is known for celebrating beloved characters from TV and movies through joyful, outlandish, genderbending acts that astound, amuse and allure!

Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Samantha Halas has traveled the world to study circus arts including China, San Francisco, Mongolia and across Canada. Now based in Toronto, her latest accomplishment, creating Deep Dish, a one woman show, she has performed across Canada. Samantha has performed for circuses including Wonderbolt Circus, Haut Vol, Luna Caballera, the Underground Circus, Labo Cirque, Chile’s En La Cuerda, alongside the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Balancing on the Edge of Toronto, has toured Canada and Europe with Red Sky. You can catch her in Elevator Game, a horror movie in which she is the villain.
