This means that for the first time in TQFF history, you’ll be able to purchase a separate ticket for each event, guaranteeing your spot and making it possible to DIY your Festival experience.
The All Access Pass provides you with access to all in person and online festival events and costs $60. Your Pass functions like a credits package that you will use to redeem tickets to the screenings you are interested in. You MUST redeem your credits by reserving a ticket for each individual event that you want to attend in order to save your seat.

How do I buy tickets for TQFF 2026?
This year, we’re doing things a little differently with our ticketing in order to manage capacity at each of our screenings and to allow everyone to attend the event they really want to. This means that you will need to purchase a separate ticket to each individual event of the festival. You may also purchase an All-Access Pass that allows you to attend multiple events.
How much do tickets cost?
Tickets to festival events have two tiers: $10 and $20 (suggested). Our priority is to remain a low-cost festival for our community and these PWYC tiers support us in continuing to run our festival without corporate sponsorship. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you would like to request a 100% off discount code for tickets, please fill out this form and you will receive the code in your email (no questions asked). Our All Access Pass is not included with your discount code.
How much is an All Access Pass and how does it work?
The All Access Pass costs $60 and provides you with access to all in person and online festival events. Your Pass functions like a credits package that you will use to redeem tickets to the screenings you are interested in. You MUST redeem your credits by reserving a ticket for each individual event that you want to attend in order to save your seat. A seat is not guaranteed with the purchase of your Pass alone.
What if a screening goes rush?
Due to our new ticketing system, you will be able to see which screenings are sold out online. We understand that not everyone who buys a ticket attends a screening, so rush tickets will be available at the venue. We will operate a rush line outside the Tranzac entrance for all sold out screenings. Approximately 15 minutes before each screening, Festival staff will count the empty seats to sell a select amount of tickets to the folks in the rush line. Are all in person events also online?
Most of our in person events will be available online after the festival from October 20 to October 25, with the exception of our two feature films, Camp and Lucid, as well as one of our shorts, Double Chesticle Extraction. Our screenings will not be on demand during the festival.
Can I view the screenings virtually only?
Yes, you can access the festival screenings online during the week of October 20 virtually with an Online Access Pass, which you can purchase here. If you would like to request a 100% off discount code, please fill in this form and you will receive the code in your email (no questions asked).
Are refunds and exchanges available?

Accessibility
When and where is TQFF 2026 happening?
All TQFF 2026 events take place in person at the Tranzac Club from October 14-18, with the exception of the following two events: DIY Contact Printing for Angry Transsexuals will take place at LIFT and our 10th Birthday Party will take place at Handlebar.
Tickets are available online or in person at our box office at the Tranzac Club beginning Wednesday, October 14. We encourage you to purchase tickets online in advance as screenings may sell out.

Friday, October 16: 1PM to 8:15PM
Saturday, October 17: 11AM to 10:15PM

We accept debit, Visa, Mastercard, and cash.
Tickets for our offsite events at LIFT and Handlebar will also be available at the door at both venue. All other Festival tickets can only be purchased at Tranzac Club.
Following the end of our festival, the majority of our programming will be hosted online on our website until October 25, 2026.
Is the venue accessible?

Accessible seating is available on request. Please email operations@torontoqueerfilmfest.com with your request.
Gender Neutral Washrooms are available at the Tranzac. While each washroom has an accessible stall, please note that the entrance to each washroom is only 30 inches wide.
PPE is available on demand at the box office at the main entrance to the Tranzac.
Continued Air Filtration will be practiced in the main hall during screenings.
Scent Free Event We ask attendees to avoid wearing scents in festival venues.
Parking is available next to the Tranzac. Two additional parking lots are located at 365 Lippincott St. and on Spadina Rd next to the Spadina subway station.
Are all the films captioned?
Yes, we offer open captioning on all our film programs.
Will there be ASL interpretation?
Yes, some of our events will have ASL interpretation. We will be announcing which events will have ASL interpretation by September 30th. If you would like to make a request for ASL, please email us at operations@torontoqueerfilmfest.com
What is our venue capacity, and does it differ for each event?
All our film screenings at Tranzac Club have a capacity of 100 people. Capacity for our workshops and offsite events differs.
How does seating work for screenings?
All in-person events are general admission, with attendees seated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive early to secure your seat.
Is there somewhere I can hang out before or after a screening?
Absolutely! You are welcome to spend some time at our Southern Cross Community Space at the Tranzac Club. The space will have seating, snacks, drinks, vendors, and festival merch. This is also where you’ll be able to view Pardis’ handmade sculpture that was designed for our official poster.
Are online events geo-blocked?
No, our online screenings are not geo-blocked. They will be available worldwide on our website.
What are the masking guidelines for the festival?
TQFF continues to remain committed to providing a lower-risk space for our community members. We will continue to follow the same zoned masking policy at the Tranzac Club as previous Festivals.
Mask Recommended Zones: Southern Cross, corridors
We strongly recommend all attendees and artists wear masks in mask recommended zones.Mask Required Zones: Main Hall, restrooms
All audience members and artists attending screenings and events occurring in the Main Hall will be required to wear a high-quality N-95 mask.We will supply high quality N-95 masks at the box office at the main entrance and we will practice continuous air filtration throughout the venue. All TQFF staff and volunteers will be wearing masks while on site and interacting with artists and audience members.
We recommend testing before the event if you are feeling unwell or experiencing any cough or flu-like symptoms. If you start to feel unwell during the event please keep your mask on, let our staff know, and exit the physical space if you can.
We also understand that continuous masking may be a potential barrier for some, including those with different sensory needs and those who need to see full facial expressions or who use lip-reading for communication. Finally, TQFF strictly upholds the Ontario Human Rights Code. We will not tolerate any open acts of hostility or discrimination towards our staff or community members.
